The Flower By Abduqahhorova Gulhayo

The Flower

I was born a flower, with no garden of my own,
My heart still wonders where I truly belong.
Each dawn, with the sunlight, my hopes come alive,
Each dusk, in silence, my sorrows arrive.

Even flowers have pain they can never reveal,
They hide all their sadness where dewdrops conceal.
Some pick a flower just to admire its grace,
Others protect it with love and embrace.
